PVP records not updating

Post by Dreadicus »

Rollie your advice to purge my Census seems to have fixed my updates not being applied correctly - except the PVPlog still doesn't seem to be updating. I was expecting to 'lose' the PVPlog data from the time my file seems to have corrupted up to the point where I purged - but it doesn't seem to have resolved the problem (I've logged some kills since I fixed my log, and gotten a lvl - it caught the fact that I got a lvl, and even my HK's, but the log isn't reflecting the 'who/what lvl/class' of the HK's themselves.)

Any ideas for things I should try? I purged the savedvariables file as suggested?

Am I being impatient and the PVPlog's are updated seperately from the census?

The PVPLog data is parsed separate from the Census info. PVP data is processed once per day. I'll take a look at it this weekend to see what's going on with it.

Just thought I would mention - it's not updating the pvplog yet, I have not checked or experimented to see if it's just one character - That I have on multiple servers with the same name (I was thinking maybe that was tossing the census off recording PVP kills properly). I will check with an alt that can actually get a few HK's (with a different name!) , and see if they record in the log properly or if it's an entire account/savedvariables issue.

Any thoughts? btw what should I be 'viewing' the savedvariables file with (what viewer that can parse it and 'show' it properly if I want to scan it?) Notepad/wordpad don't fly. ;)

I need to take a look at this. I'll try to find time this weekend to work on it. It may be that something changed in the format of PVPlog that is causing the processing to trip up on it.
