yeah, i just didn't know what to do other than take an SS for ya.
if -- sometime there's a debug version of the plugin send me a msg on here
i'd be happy to install anything that would log potential bugs like that '=]
btw, the plugin hasn't done it since those initial 2 times -- so maybe it was a lack of a [populated] local database? iono
Note even though your chat window shows that you had 390 updates at the end of the census run.. the census plus window shows that only 1 character was recorded per run!
As far as your thought of a problem with starting (zero pop) local database.. that isn't the issue. I and others delete our local databases and start over frequently (it helps when you are counting more then 100k characters each month).
I would expect that what you were really seeing was one or more addons fighting over the /who data from Blizzard. Were you running something like WIM?
The other thing that I see strange is the text string "Out of range", I've searched the image and code files in the CensusPlus directory.. and that phrase doesn't exist. It might be coming from Blizzard but don't see anything in the code that would place that text there.. Unless some how interference was causing the character count to be a negative number.. except it is displaying as a positive.
Bringoutyourdead, if you examine the pictures very closely, you will notice that on the first picture, only troll shamans are selected, on the second orc shamans. Neither of those explains the weird blue patterns though.
As you noted, zero population can't be the issue. I purge very often and I have NEVER seen such an error.
Since UI is obviously not standard Blizzard issue one, I agree with your suspicion of another addon interfering with the census.
