Game freezes when I try to prune

Really, nothing else I can say except for what's in the thread title. I have ~15,000 characters in my database. Whenever I try to prune, the game just freezes.

Yeah, I need to see what I can do to alleviate that. Just don't do it right now =x

I just started to have this, too. I'm doing Horde on Moonrunner--can Census and upload just fine, but prune freezes me beyond the 3-finger salute--must do full powerdown. I'll try to do this in a less processing area (Ive been in Org), and will report back if that helps. I'll also see if my Alliance char on Gurubashi can still prune.

nope. both freeze WoW down, and if I don't pull up task mgr fast enuff, the whole box needs powerdown.

Guess Ill have to purge, pass the Ipecac.
