Upload problem?

Anything wrong with my upload to cause it not to be processed? Going to try another one in a minute then I'll do a serverprune and clear the entries not from my own server, in case there's corruption at my end, but thought I'd give you a heads up in case it's not just a local thing :)

Looks like the file was cut off due to max size restrictions, which caused it to fail in parsing =x

Sorry, but a server prune is prob your best bet to get back rolling =)

Doh! Oh well, pruned now... what's the maximum size that'll work? I get up to a largeish size very very fast :?

Because of the way I was handling uniupload files, it was capped for uniupload at 10,000,000 bytes. I have actually upped it to 20million now.

Thanks! No wonder I was having trouble then, I was at about 12MB before I pruned... and after I pruned it was up at 6MB within a few hours ;)

I guess the 35k character database on my own server doesn't help - I've never purged it since installing so it's a pretty big record :)

Yup, huge lags lol, usually lose 2-3 seconds to it - it's only got my own server on it atm, after a serverprune, and it's at almost 5MB.

I probably should prune it but I like having all the detail, especially since you added the who feature - I've probably got 99% of characters that have existed on Alliance in the last 6 months, and must be at least 80% of Horde too :)

Btw, I did an upload via the website as a test just now, and noticed a heck of a lot of profile data uploading - must've been 30-40 profiles - how much size would that take up? And is there any way to get rid of it except deleting the Censusplus.lua file (maybe an idea for a future feature, prune profile data :))?

There were at least three characters in there that I deleted a long time ago, so I know it's not all current data, and tbh I'm pretty sure I have profile data set to off on all my characters now, except the ones I play seriously (I have 30-odd alts for censusing purposes, which obviously don't need profiles as none of them are above lvl 6 ;)).

(Sorry for spamming your server with uploads btw, was testing a few things with the profiles - seems my main's one suddenly started working, which I'm pretty happy with; most my alts are still having issues but I'm very glad to see my main's profile up to date again :D)

No, there is no way to prune just character data. That wouldn't be hard to add in and I suppose I will put it on my todo list for next release.
