I have looked at your uploaded data. Also, it appears your newly submitted files (after the serverprune command) have not been processed yet.

EDIT: I just looked at your last file and the problem is still there, but it will be at least manually fixable. While you have the game closed, open up your SavedVariables file and remove these 2 lines:

Code: Select all

                ["USBlackmoore"] = {
                },
At that point, your file should be free of the bad info that causes the process to trip up.

ok...

I have done that, to the best?of my abillities. Uploaded again, doesen't look to much different now, to me.
Could you take a look at the file, again. Just to make sure, i did everything right?

Thx, for your effort with the hopeless me.. ;-)

Data file looks good. Give it a while to be processed.

As far as getting it working, I wish I could reproduce this bug as it's annoying and I'm sure others are suffering from it as well...

ok... next problem...

I can collect, refine and submit the data for census, now.

when i do refine it (deleting those two lines) i get an error, though... saying there is an unfinished string (the string mentioned is in my mains profile and stretches over 3 lines in the file). obviously i can solve that, easily, by changing the string from "..." to [[...]], which i did...

BUT in both cases, with our without the error on that string... all the collected census data will not be recognized by census GUI ingame, anymore (even though the data still is in the file). that of course means me not having any ingame data... ;-(

summing it up:
obviously i get (with your help) one or two problems solved. but then there still is another prob open, which i cannot get to, yet...

can you come up, with a solution?

Can you explain a bit more what you are referring to? What line is stretching over 3 lines in the file?

I had hoped to be able to spend some time with this last weekend, but alas, it was not to be. The rest of this week is going to be pretty hectic as well so I will just have to hope I will have a chance to dig into it this coming weekend.

Sorry the news isn't better, but life is just too busy lately =(

still not wanting to be bugging.... yet.... any kind of idea...?

btw: Lately I have noticed the following...

C+ at some point starts adding chars above the "EU"-Cluster, creating an additional "US"-labeled section. That means, the file is being devided in EU-Blackmoore and USBlackmoore parts...
Does that info help you any?

Actually, that is the exact problem. I have not figure out yet why it sometimes appends the US to the EU clients, but that is the root of the problem.
