No output file

Post by sm00thk0zz »

Just download the latest census UI and I'm not having much luck using it. I'm running Win7. It starts great and does it's thing, but when I go to check for the census file in \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\xxx\SavedVariables its not there. Any reason why it wouldn't be saving there?

can you do a search for CensusPlus.Lua and see if there's some weird file path change with Win7?

It is likely being saved in a different place, perhaps in \Users\WINACCOUNTNAME\WoW or something?

I'm running on Win7 and it's saving in the usual place within the WoW folder for me. However I was prompted to install WoW into C:\Users\Public\Games instead of any of the program files folders, so perhaps if it's installed into program files there may be a different save path - I imagine most people just copied their old WoW install rather than installing from scratch as I did so wouldn't have been prompted to install to the location I'm using (I wanted a clean install to tidy up my mess of addon remnants after years of UI experiments ;))
