every start of WOW my CensusPlus (always the latest version) tells me: Census+: Unable to determine locale
when i execute /census+ locale command and set this to EURO (i am on EU-Hellscream) it says that it changes locale from "EU to EU-" but when i close WOW and open it again it cannot determine locale once again.
i am from Poland (as you can read in my profile : P) and that makes my time set on Central European Timezone (which means London time +1h). when i am running WOW, server time is always actual time for me.
I get the same error message - it still seems to work fine even without me resetting it, so isn't really a problem for me, just a mild annoyance!
Great site by the way, I've been looking at the stats for some time now, and finally got round to signing up and getting the add-on a few days ago, as I noticed one of my alts is on a server in your "Most Wanted" list (EU-Draenor on Horde), so I figured I might as well help out. I particularly like the top contributors page, that's a nice incentive for me to go and visit other servers as well and keep running it regularly!
I get the same message every time I start CensusPlus. Everything else seems to work fine though... By the way, I live in the same timezone as waste, if this is an information you need to solve the problem.
i get the same problem if i set it to auto-start upon logging in. i am in pacific standard time zone. it even goes so far as to guess that the sever is EU =/
I think I have an idea of why this is occurring and I will be doing all I can to eliminate it. The good news is if you know you have your locale set correctly, it doesn't matter if you get that message.
Yeah I still get this message (unable to determine locale) in the text when I first get on a character but on the censusplus UI panel it shows correctly as US.
