Killing Fields Dead?

Hi all. I'm just wondering if the Killing Fields mod is going to receive any updates. I really like the Battleground and Arena tracking, but it's a little buggy right now. It doesn't properly record game time, battleground flag captures, battleground point scores, or arena deaths. Any chance of having these fixed?

Time is a known issue. I don't think it's ever done flags. The BH column would be Battle honor? And don't know it's history of compatibility of arena deaths :-/

The only issue I was aware of was the time. The rest I thought were working correctly, I'll have to look at it.

The last 6 games I logged with killing fields got recorded as losses but were posted in blue. All the games were actually wins, so the color of the entry is right but not the win or loss. Since the new wow patch 2.3 it does not list who won the match on the summary screen so am assuming the program is getting confused.

Patch 2.3 broke some battleground functions, specifically the ability to know who won =x

is there anything we can do? i would like to help if possible. I was noticing it wasnt reporting the scores right and really would like to see this work.

I believe I have a work around, and will release the update either today or tomorrow.

I replaced the old files in the addons/WR_killingfields folder and played a few BGs. It doesn't appear that the program is even running. It not only didn't update the lua in the WTF/account/xxxx/savedvariables folder but did not give a message when first logging in. It used to always mention it was running and purging entries. Any ideas?

It runs well now. It seems to have issues with bonus honor and honor kills though. Damage, healing and KBs seem to work right. Thanx for the work on this

After playing a few more BGs I have more information.

First I'll list what was reported on warcraft realms and then what was reported on the summary in the BG. I'll list the fields in order, KBs Ds HKs healing damage and BH.

I only got to play the one AB game which reported everything correctly. WSG seems to have some issues. Hope this info helps.
