Can't fopen Files form other Sides

Hi.
I want to use the script Rollie posted here.
But there's a problem. My host funpic.de don't allows fopen to http:// URLs.
So i can't update my files form warcraftrealms.com.
Anyone knows a solution?

Hmm sorry,
If you can`t get your Provider to allow this File Access, you wont have a chance to use all there Scripts here.
If your provider ist not a BigCash-Provider such as Puretec or Strato, you can try to ask for activating the missing feature. Bur chances will be very small.

There are probably other avenues you could try, but that's definitely going to make it difficult if you cannot open external files.

You might want to try using file($filePath). This reads it read-only into an array, so maybe your host would allow that.
