Is there any way to list guilds from a particular realm by population? I didn't notice an export that included guild name, but I thought I'd ask.
Either way, thanks for the handy site.

Not at the moment, no. What exactly would you like? Something along the lines of the top 100 guilds buy number of members or something?

That's exactly what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the quick reply.

by DM.
The current view is by guild size for active guild members on each realm.

I thought the current view was the top guilds with the most high-level toons. Am I missing one?

yes and no. its by expercience -> lvls countet together. sure if you got more lvl 70 in a guild, you got more exp
but you cant be in the top guild if the guild has 200 lvl 20 chars

Why can't you list guilds by real members, rather than levels? If you wanted to be in the biggest active social guild, you wouldn't care if it was 2000 level 1-50s.

You could but the point of the game is to ding 70 and kill raid bosses, or pvp.

Well, many people find that leveling alts of different classes more fun than doing either endgame pve or pvp... I've seen whole guilds dedicated to this sort of thing

No offense, but I see people on realms saying i have 5,6,7 level 70's and i always retort the same
"... but are you any *good* at *any* of them?"

Some people can be; I have 6 70s and I'm certainly competent with 3 classes (which covers 5 of them) and can solo fine with the other one, which is all I plan to do with him anyway. For me a lot of the fun of WoW is in learning every class well; I don't have every class to 70 yet but it's my aim, and I'll make sure to learn how to play them along the way.
The point of WoW is *not* to raid or to pvp btw, it's to have fun. In whatever way you like

I wouldn't ever say I have "leet skillz", but I'm quite competent in both pve and pvp with all of my 70's (although enhancement shaman in pvp can be quite a challenge, haha... it's why I usually stick to pve with him.) I like the variety -- I would have quit wow long ago if I was forced to stick to just one character/class. Sure, I only do deep raiding (MH/BT) with my holy pally now and it's still at what's often considered a casual level... but I can hold my own on any of my chars that I often play. Sure, I have no idea how to play a good lock/mage/priest or whatever, but if I ever do decide to level one you'd better believe I'd do research on the class and not be shy about asking questions from experienced players of that class. If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right.
Of course, most people that use that excuse "well I have 5/6/7/25 level 70's so stfu" use it to justify their horrible play on their current character... and that's retarded. Obviously being good at one facet of the game doesn't automatically make you good at all of them, especially in a game like wow where getting to max level isn't hard at all.
It is all about having fun. For some people that's endgame raiding, for some pvp (at endgame or twinking), and for some, it's just playing different characters to cleanse their gameplay palette.
