New Player - What is a good PvP realm?

Post by HippoTank »

I looked at the "reccomended Realms" but seems like people are saying alot of them are baisically dying

I know people must ask this alot... but it is kinda hard choosing somewhere to start, and I don't really wanna pay extra mony to move a character which i accidently put in a deserted realm!

Whats a good realm to go to? One that has preferably a lot of players and not many problems (cos it seems a lot of realms have people migrating and stuff with all the main players leaving)

I will be playing Horde by the way, thanks ^_^

Or rather even - PvP servers to avoid? Since most people probably have only played a few servers, thanks =)

Daggerspine is a good PvP server, at least that is what people have told me. Battleground queues are short and minimal gankings as far as I know.

to be honest i don't really mind ganking as such, as i have played MMORPG's alot. I don't do it myself but know of many people who do

i'm more concerned of stuff like reaching level 60 and everyone there doesn't know how to play their character at all and stuff. I will check out daggerspine though =)

thanks! any others?

Try Demon Soul, its a fairly new server, so there are lots of people in the lower levels to group with.

Even though I play on Burning Blade, and do not plan on leaving it any time soon.....I would like to say if you are just starting out don't come to Burning Blade. It has A LOT of server lag and is very annoying. If you go to the World of Warcraft forums you might catch a glimpse of the *Fix Burning Blade* thread...we really wish for a fix but it doesn't look like it is going to happen...so just some advice to steer away from Burning Blade. For a good pvp server you might want to check out the new servers, that way most of the people will be in their lower levels and ganking will not be as bad. (sorry about the rant about burning blade but I couldn't help it :P )
When I'm not in my right mind, my left mind gets pretty crowded.

I play on Firetree. It's usually medium to high during peak hours, so theres always stuff to do...if you havent got too far leveling your dude on daggerspine try rolling another char on Firetree

I play on Mal'Ganis, but we're queued at peak hours as it is so I don't suggest rolling here :P We used to only get up to high before transfers started, but we had a ton of incoming transfers. Mal'Ganis is one of the oldest servers, but at least we got moved to new hardware a couple months back... /cheer :P
