Err-Msg from Census

are you still on this? As it is now, Census would be of no use to me. I really wish it would be different. Do you think, you can fix it or should I just give up on it and deinstall?

I have to buy another 7 day EU pass to do some EU testing, and I just haven't done that yet =/

ok...

all i wanted to know was, whether it makes sense for me, to check back or if you will no longer support the EU realms. Which of course would be acceptable i just would like to know...

It doesn't invalidate the UI for EU realms. It is a localized problem, not a widespread issue. I receive many uploads per day from EU realms where users do not have this problem. Which means I have to figure out why it sometimes effects EU users.

It will still work fine for you. Your data just might have some extra unusable information in it. If you are concerned about it, or if you want to be sure you receive credit for your uploads, just Purge your data and keep going.

Until it's fixed you might have to purge after every upload. Not much for keeping your local database, but it might help with uploads.

problem is... the data gets currupted even if i don't manage to upload before the next scan starts while playing....

You could always turn off the autoscan, so you only run it once, then exit the game, upload, and go back to playing. Very annoying and tedious for sure, but it might work.

yes it should... except it it kind of ruining the concept of census....
i hope this gets sorted out so I can have my own little database, as well... ;-(

Well, your local database should be fine. There is just a timing problem somewhere I think where the mod isn't sure of it's locale. I have an idea of how to make sure there isn't a problem here, so I'll keep you posted.

That's great... I would love, to have this really working for me. Especially since there don't seem to be to many updates on horde side of EU-Blackmoore...

Ok, Kab, I have a version here I want you to try out:

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/censusmod ... abulla.zip

This only has the one changed file. Unzip the file into your

\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CensusPlus

directory and it will overwrite the CensusPlus.lua file currently there.

Next up, when you load up, do a Purge.

Then play as normal and let me know when you do an upload so I can check out your file, okay?

Okay, the file looks good and should process without problems. Will you keep letting me know when you upload new files so I can check them out?
