Spanish Translation - Census+ Version 3.5.1 released

Post by Rollie »

I am happy to announce the release of Census+ version 3.5.1! This version brings a couple of very nice new things.

First up, you can now issue /who commands while a census snapshot is in process and it will queue up your command to be run next! This has been a long desired and awaited feature and I'm happy to finally have that in there!

Next up is a Spanish Translation of the mod so it will work on Spanish Servers. A huge thank you to Nekromant of EU Zul'jin for the translation work! In addition, he has also been helping with localizing the website for Spanish readers as well! You can find the link to view the site in Spanish on the nav bar under languages. As an addendum, we're looking for volunteers that can help translate the site into French, German, Spanish, Italian, and any other major language that you'd like to offer help in!

An additional requested feature in this update is an audible sound that is played when a census completes. Never fear, you can disable this in the options panel if you don't wish to deal with it!

You can download the latest version directly right here:

As always, if you find any issues with this latest release, please let me know by posting in the <a href='http://www.warcraftrealms.com/forum/ind ... >Forums</a>!

Enjoy!

Looks great Rollie. I was taking Census for well over 2 hours and I did not find any problems. Like DM said, the continue button is a really great addition as well.

i think there's a conflict with calltoarms' /who "catcher" i guess you would call it, and i can't find a way to disable it. basically when i do a /who, CTA queues it up and census+ does nothing to it. it's kind of hard to describe if you don't use CTA, but if you install it and then do a /who while census is running you'll see what i'm talking about

Thanks for that. I've been meaning to grab call to arms and see what the conflict is.

I like this new version, I love teh time stamp, now I know HOW long it takes on some servers.

I have posted a warning about Census the the current Detachminibutton mod and they don't like each other. From my testing it doesn't look like it's Census problem, but more of Detachminibutton's problem.

Keep up the good work.

Just at tip...

If you do a /who search while Census is scanning, and while your viewing your results you press Esc. Census does not restart itself. You must either enter the Main window of Census and click on the Un-Pause button, or right click the C icon by your minimap and select Un-Pause.

I stumbled across this problem a few mins ago... =X

I keep getting this error when I try to upload my data:

I was unable to determine what version of CensusPlus you are using. The latest version is 3.5. Please download the latest version and rerun CensusPlus. Your data will not be accepted unless submitted using the latest version of CensusPlus. You can get the latest version here :

I just got this program yesterday so I am a little confused as to why this would happen. Any suggestions?

Make sure you have 3.5.1 installed and that you are uploading the correct file located:
World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/<account>/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua

No other file will be accepted and processed.

It says I am using the correct file to upload but it can not verify the version I am using.

99.9% of the times when people get that error they are uploading the wrong file. Make sure you check the folders and file name so you are correctly uploading the right censusplus.lua file. As DM already said

Should be this one:
World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/<account>/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua

NOT This one:
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<Account>\ServerName\Charactername\SavedVariables\CensusPlus.lua

Ok, I did make the mistake that 99.9% of people make. Thanks for helping a Noob!
