Uniuploader

Ok, call me an idiot if you like, but can someone tell me how to download the installer for Uniuploader? Every time I click on it it takes me back to the main page for the program without actually showing the slightest indication that it's trying to download anything, or giving me a hint of what I'm meant to do.

I assume I'm missing something really obvious, at least I hope I am, as I only now found the upload page here won't take files larger than 10MB, and I now have a 15MB census file... and my other computer with working UniUploader installation still won't start, so I'm kinda stuck atm - can't let my census file get much larger or I'll hit the 20MB limit too!

Yeah I could never figure that website out to even think about downloading it. I am ending up in a never ending loop. I think that is what you are getting too?

I think I got it to work..No idea how though. I know I clicked on this link many times.

That link will download this. I just pulled it from their site. There are 3 other versions of the uploader, but this one is the installer package. /shrug

Yep, the neverending loop is exactly what I'm getting, every time I click on the link you posted it takes me to the main page for the program and doesn't download it

Think I'll just hope my other computer gets fixed soon so I can grab the installer from it instead

Maybe there's some browser incompatibilities going on. Try it with both IE and FF

Hmm I don't have any other browser... can't be bothered installing a second one just for the few sites which can't be bothered making themselves compatible with the most widely-used browser, in the end it's their loss if people can't use their site

Definitely doesn't work in IE6 though... what browsers are other folk using to make it work or not work as the case may be?

I was able to grab it fine with IE 7 and FF 2. Don't have an IE 6 box handy atm.

Sometimes, flushing your cache and temp files with IE can fix oddities...

And it's only now I notice the sticky thread about Uniuploader, doh!

Oh well, at least it saved me asking why I keep getting timeouts... compression enabled and submission now working fine lol. Yeah, it's been a looong time since I set it up on my other computer
