The PvP set has a pretty good amount of +healing over Benediction, and I always love more mana regen. Really, the only compelling part of the staff is the healing crit boost. That's approximately 1 in 50 casts, so probably more useful if you're spamming Flash Heal and less useful if you cast longer heals. (Personally, I am almost always casting long heals and stopping them if people don't need the heal by ~2 seconds into the cast.)
You could do all the crazy math and figure out if two crit is better than +51 healing give a specific number of casts, etc., but I've never had the patience for all that. Given the choice, I would use the PvP set. I'm working on the mace myself, I don't PvP often and probably won't have time for the off-hand.

that's basically for healing, but I did t hink about it overnight...
While grinding (as we all will do for the Xpac) we will need to dish out the damage (Anathema). For the time being I'll probably grab both since I already have the Eye of Shadow and 17k honor, ...
plus you can switch out weapons while in combat

many priests I know carry more than one weapon combo... benediction with say +healing, and another set with +spirit or mana regen so they can make the most of the situation. The eye of divinity is pretty common in MC (supposedly it's even 50/50 between the leaf and the eye, but I think it's more like 75% in favor of the eye from my 60+ times killing domo
) so it's probably not a problem to pick one up. My guild was destroying them for weeks and weeks on end (at one point we went 15 straight weeks of getting only eyes) until we starting selling a spot in our MC raid for a priest to have a chance to get the eye. Was a pretty good way to make money...

Loot is random x.
Don't start that kind of stuff here -_-. Don't need the D&R forums transplanted here.
The post below me is case-in-point.

I have been staying away from that site because anytime I ever wanted to look at my profile it has been down, search disabled, offline, or "we are experiencing technical issues". Any site that can't keep their website working is pretty useless to me.Forestlordx wrote:A good place to see how the equipment affects your over all crit rating and healing is to create a profile over at ctprofiles.net . It's free to register and easy to use and helps alot when looking for new stuff.

I love CTProfiles, but you're right: sometimes the server is too bogged down for its own good.oiseaux wrote:I have been staying away from that site because anytime I ever wanted to look at my profile it has been down, search disabled, offline, or "we are experiencing technical issues". Yeah, it sucks how often it crashes. I don't usually have a problem with it, but that's probably because I usually update my characters at like 5am and the server load is low. Sad too, considering how useful the site can be.Ceto wrote: I love CTProfiles, but you're right: sometimes the server is too bogged down for its own good.

CTProfiles sucking is one of two things, bored kids messing around with wish lists, people on tuesdays not knowing what to do, new character updates (meaning talent trees and such).
All the formulas for abilities aren't set in stone (note post #2 on http://ctprofiles.net/forums/thread.ct?id=6051 ). So bear with them. Plus they hadn't been working on ctprofiles until CTMod was complete.

I am sure it is a tiny group of people who run it. Unfortunately, I was talking about Ctprofiles in particular where that website needs to be up and running for you to see anything on there. It is very similar to the saying if no one is in the forest and a tree falls, does it make a sound? Same goes for a great mod. If you have a great mod but no one can use it, is it really that great?Skyfire wrote:There's only like, 3 of them that run all the ct stuff. Don't be hatin'.
Might seem like weird logic to you, but that is how my brain works.
