Processing halted?

Ok, so I noticed that Detheroc doesn't have any contributers so I've started running CensusPlus. I uploaded last night and naturally I'm anxious to see the fruits of my labor.

However, it looks like processing has been halted for the last few days. http://www.warcraftrealms.com/dbstats.php shows the last update as:

Last processed file was uploaded on 2007-01-01 21:06:06.

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php confirms that the
I didn't see a post related to this (though I may have missed it).

What gives?

It isn't on halt. The database has to sort through the data, so it takes some time.

So it is typical for it to be 4 days behind? How long does sorting take?

Naturally it doesn't matter too much as long as it gets to it eventually. I'm just curious.

Well Rollie just hired a database guru to help with making it faster. It usually took only about 24 hours to update, but recently it has been getting backed up. Maybe Rollie can pop in here and give some better information than what I know.

It will be processed eventually. I also think there was a slight problem with the roll over of 2007, so he had to go back and reprocess some of the files. http://www.warcraftrealms.com/forum/vie ... php?t=2680

Ya, we were nearly back to only 1 day behind, then I had to reset all submissions for 07. It's chugging along.

The DB guru has his recommendations in and now we're in talks for implementation. There's some pretty major changes listed and it will be some time before the big changes happen. Hopefully we'll be able to implement some of the smaller changes until such time that we can go ahead with the major changes.

Whoo hoo! Processing is completely caught up! No longer wait 5 days to see updates process! That's great!

Now if we could just export this technology so that Blizzard could update avatars on their boards with the right levels...
