Hi!
Since the release of Census+ v1.8 I see on my data that some things are became different on my server. You know, if you use a new version there's at the beginning no data. Well, now the most-played class is Human and no longer Nightelf and more priests than warlocks walking on "my" Azeroth. And that's my question. It seems the current data on the website show new AND old data. You know what I mean? No? Ok, an example: I start a new character on "Arthas" at 1.1.2005. My char is collected by Census+... Two weeks later a friend told me that he plays on "Mal'Ganis". I decide to delete my character and start a new one on "Mal'Ganis". So far, so good. The old char is no longer existing but the website is still "showing" it.
And now I think it's better to reset the databases of the servers regularly to get more up to date data.
Database Reset?
For historical purposes, data is kept basically forever.
However, for the main Census page (with all the bar graphs and such), the realm stats, player activity, and other statistical areas, only characters 'seen' in the past 30 days that are also above level 10 are used in those views.
So in essence, on those types of displays, the data actually ages and will no longer show if characters are no longer played/deleted/etc.
