What else do you do?

Post by Skyfire »

Most of you play WoW (I don't, anymore...). But what else do you guys do?

I'm into smash melee (and brawl, when its out), reading, lifeguarding, swimming (day and day out), homework, school, wc3:tft, and board games besides.

I go to College from about 8:30am to 4:30pm most days with a 4hr or 5hr break in between classes. Its just 2 classes a day for me, one really early morning and one in the afternoon. In between them I do homework then if I got time some WoW. I then work evenings from 7:30pm to 12:00am. I really only play WoW without interruptions from about 12:30am to 3:00am

Thats pretty much a Mon-Fri life for me... Weekends is different and pretty much unpredictable. But I tend to play WoW usually from 7:30pm to about 3:00am

I spend most of my free time working on a little WoW website. Other than that I have a 17 month old daughter that takes up the rest of my waking hours =)

Work for a game dev company but can't say anything about it =x

Why'd I quit? I don't have time right now. ;)

I'll be back for the summer months, I promise. And besides, I can't leave you guys hanging. :P

I used to work part-time, but for now I just take care of the house. I do work for my husband and that takes up a good chunk of my time. Besides that I like to sing, write, stay fit, and annoy the hell out of my cat.

My WoW time has increased dramatically since BC has come out.

Here are some pics of my cat. I love her to death.

At my day job I do computery things for a company that assembles data cables. (Category cables, SCSI, serial, KIV, you name it.) Officially I'm the "Web Coordinator," but that is shifting yet again to more of a software development role. I'll have more responsibilities coding the in-house database and the company website.

Out of work I mostly play WoW, but I also do freelance website work and tech support. I've been reading more lately, finishing up my Vonnegut books that I never got around to and buying a few titles by Orson Scott Card. The problem with my reading style is that it doesn't take priority over WoW time, it just keeps me up after I log from WoW for the night. A 1:00 AM bed time becomes 2:00 or 2:30. I embrace my destructive lifestyle.

In my final semester of school before I graduate. Work 30-35hrs a week for my job. Playing WoW as often as possible before my subscription expires which is in Feb which when that comes I will be devoting all my free time to portfolio compilation and finishing up school on a high note. I do plan on returning to the game after graduation. :)

College student, but I'm not college aged :P Blog. Game. I haven't played WoW since November. Will be getting TBC once I see that the path is clear and the servers are somewhat stable. Kind of pissed that it went somewhat smoothly... missing all the good PvP action!!! I'm married also.

I tend to play a lot of board games like Battlelore, Arkham Horror, and so forth currently. Also I am very heavily addicted to Dreamblade and The Spoils TCG. I play the WoW card game casually, but it is sort of losing its luster now.

Servers seem stable for the most part. The thing that sucks is everyone's camping everything for quests :-s

Test and manage bugs for a video card maker. So at times I do have to "test" WoW at work. But not as often as I used to, enchance my uploads are down this month.

Ok. I've been putting this off, just 'cause I'm lazy.

I'm a software tester for an audit software. We're in 61 of the top 100 accounting firms, so we're pretty proud of it (Our company is actually in all of the top 100 accounting firms).

Other than that, I spend some time on my website (though not enough lately), and I geocache.

Oh yeah, and I try not to torture my 6 cats. :)

Wow 6 cats! You should post some pictures of them doing silly things. =p That would be great. I can't imagine having that many running around here and they all begging for food at the same time. Meow, Meow! MEOW! MeOW!! My one cat makes enough noise haha

I'm a grad student who moonlights in computer tech support as a part time job. Other than WoW, I enjoy being newly married (9 months as of today, actually), playing guitar, playing old school RPGs, and dabbling in recording music on my computer (though it makes me wish I had a Mac.)

I have a cat. She is CRAZY. ;)

I swear all cats are crazy! lol It's like in their genes or something to do the most ridiculous things.

Oh a newly wed! :D It's amazing how fast time flies. It will be 3 years for us come this April and it just seems like yesterday. I assume you do not have any children?

Post some cat pictures too!
