Burning Crusade progression?
How's everyone doing? I dinged 67 last night after having cleared all visible quests in Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, and Terrokar (in that order). Nagrand is next. I've been to Ramparts, Blood Furnace, and Slave Pens a number of times, and the Underbog twice. I have done Mana-Tombs and the Auchenai Crypts once each. Auchindoun was a challenge. We cleared both instances, but not without some wipes. Mana Burn makes my priest cry.
I've also got a little Draenei priest, but the night elf will be my main for a long time to come I think.
Your turn. Got any favorite quests or zones?
SAND GNOMES!

Dinged 70 a few days back on my rogue, now working on my Draenei priest who's currentl lvl 28 and climbing fast
Favourite stuff... too much to mention lol. Several really good Draenei ones (that totems one for a start!), the gnome town in Blade's Edge, the scenery in Netherstorm... loads of stuff really. Love the Vengeful Harbinger quest too (when it works), great scripted thing, something I only really expect to see inside an instance

Just dinged 64 last night finishing up the quests in Zangarmarsh. I've done Ramparts and Blood Furnace, but haven't made it into any of the other instances yet. I've kinda been holding off in an attempt to kinda follow the stories which will lead me into the other instances.
I'm having a lot of fun =)

dinged 65 last night, but I'm thinking I may slow down now. All of my friends are more interested in playing their blood elves, and falling behind in that area. I never did find a blood furnace group, but I've done ramparts 1.5 times. The .5 time was an absolute failure. I remember now why "No group is better than pickup group" has been my motto for so long.
In tailoring, I've chosen my new discipline already, and made each of the new transmutes. (I sold the shadowcloth for 70g!) I wrote the main tailoring guide on the worldofwacraft.com guide forum, and have been updating it as I go along. This has taken a lot of my time.
Favorite stuff so far is the Sporeggor quests, and the Nesingwary quests. I've visited each of the 11 new zones, and like them all except for Azuremyst isle. The amount of traveling required for low level Draenei is too much, altough the furbulg quests there are fun.

Shadowfiend is great, it's like having your own mini Innervate or Evocation. Finally a way to regen a decent amount of mana on a regular basis.Elmaless wrote:Not exactly a regular here by any means but.. hey.. I'm about to get 66 (25% away.. go go go!), which means yay, I get my shadowfr-I mean fiend.
I am level 65 right now. I have been busy with work related items
I hope to be level 70 next week sometime, so I plan on picking up on the leveling in the next few days. Recently, I have been leveling up my fishing and making a crap ton of gold, so I can buy my epic flying mount as soon as I hit 70. I am only about 1,000 gold away and that will probably only take me a few more days to get. Hehe I am so excited to get my mount!
I haven't run any of the instances since I am a mostly solo type player, but I do plan on getting into some of them. I like how Nagrand looks, but those "go kill 180 mobs" quests are ridiculous. The nice thing about my level is now everything else on out will be completely new to me. I only got to level 65 in Beta!
I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not there was anyway to get a discount on the flying mount. I remember in Beta there was, but it may have been taken out before release. Okay if you know either way, let me know!

I'm just about 65 on my main. I've really enjoyed doing all the different quests and new instances so far - I've done all of the ones in hellfire and most in zangarmarsh, as well as I've run ramparts, blood furnace, slave pens and underbog. Even the pugs I've run with in instances have been pretty smooth, surprisingly (although not as smooth as my guild runs of course, but that's to be expected.) Most of my guildmates have outleveled me by now (like 75% are 70 already) due to my preoccupation with my BE, but I'll catch up sooner or later.
I loved the ghostlands quests, as well as a lot of the marsh quests I've done. The benefit to being slightly behind the level curve is there's not nearly as much competition for quest mobs and spawns, plus being on a very well populated server means there's still enough people around to run the instances you need and team up with for the elite quest mobs. The downside is getting ganked by 70's flying in on their epic flying mounts (which has already happened to me too many times for my liking.)
Altogether the expansion has definitely renewed my interest in the game. Having all these new quests and new content has been fantastic.
