Single character is not found

Post by Dmitri »

I tried this on several occasions to verify, but the plugin appears unable to pickup a character if it is the only one at that level. The response from the server appears to be slightly different in that it will not say "1 player found".

Example:
Last night on Lightbringer, Baron reached level 64. Despite scanning several times when he was online, the census would only show that he was level 63. The feedback that he was level 64 would also show up in my console, despite the fact that verbose was off.

Yea that is true... If less than 3 results are returned from a /who scan it isn't counted. Try doing a /who 64-61 and maybe that might work....

I've been having this bug as well, it's rather annoying. is it possible to add some checking on that? like.. if a level gets 0 people, try that level and the next level combined?

Try something like:
/who 10-20

A range of levels is what the mods seems to like. Rollie does have a fix for the less than 3 lvls, but he's been quite busy lately to release it. In the meantime just manually type /who followed by a range of levels to capture any chars that get missed due to the less than 3 'bug'

The mod itself checks range of chars, and if more than 50 get returned then it splits it up into smaller levels then into its own levels then further by class, race, and then name

hm perhaps you could just wait a week until there are more folks playing in the range :-/
easy solution, but not the best for the stats :(

In the early days of BC, I had to do a /who 66-70 to get the first people at 70 to register... it's not even that big of a deal, just one extra /who command :P
