If Blizzard knows anything about how to program a video game, it knows how to make an RTS.

I was a huge fan of the warcraft RTS series since the first one. It's actually what got me into WoW. I think the most fun part was definitely LAN parties with my friends, haha. I never got too into starcraft though, mostly because sci-fi isn't my thing.

The original Starcraft developers knew what they were doing. The current developers are more about copying and polishing with a number attached at the end of the title.
SC2 will be a solid game, no doubt, but don't expect some grand experience.
The RTS space is pretty cluttered atm, and that is where I am hoping SC2 prevails... bringing some old school RTS gamers back into the genre.
