Can't upload my Database

Post by Mascaron »

Hi,

if I want to upload the CensusPlus.lua there is following error:

CensusPlus
File appears to be valid, checking your version number.

Checking your file
Found CensusPlus Database
Found CensusPlus Info Data
Found Version Number => Version: 3.3 <Found> Locale: EU <=

It appears you have submitted data from version 3.3 of CensusPlus. The latest version is 4.1.4. Please download the latest version and rerun CensusPlus. Your data will not be accepted unless submitted using the latest version of CensusPlus. You can get the latest version here :

But I have version 4.1.4 also ingame it says that it is the newest version.
I already deleted the censusplus.lua and scanned my realm again but it still doesn't work.

I use this UI for the first time so probably its just a silly mistake. Could please somebody help me ;)

I deleted both the CensusPlus.lua and CensusPlus.lua.bak, there are no more CensusPlus files. Also I'm sure that I selected the right file because I tried to select another file and tried to upload the wrong-file and the massage is different (something like: check our file ...) ;)

I use the web-upload-thingy

Just making sure...

The correct location is:
World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/XXX/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua

Do not upload the file located in:
World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/XXX/<realm>/<char>/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua, as that will give you errors.

I'm sure it is the right file from
World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/XXX/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua ,
because even if I want to use the file located in
World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/XXX/<realm>/<char>/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua
the error is different.

Le weird. I'd just double check that it's the right file from your account and not any other acct that might have logged into with your system (i have multiple accounts so it happens to me quite often). Apart from that, you might just want to do a purge just in case to kick it in the rear. :)

screenshot or it didn't happen!

j/k

Just make absolutely sure you are uploading the correct file. All else fails, purge and try again.
