I did this last month, creating level1-gnomes named censusgnome on all servers ever appearing in the \\\"most wanted\\\" list and scanning every server about once a day - but i only got about 300.000 updates ...

Does the amount of times you upload data improve your over all odds in winning or is it the amount of data you upload that affects it?

It's the total number of updates that your data is responsible for. Typically, the more you upload the better your chances!

what was the rule anyway ? if nobody hits the right number ? the closest one ?
