Noticed recently that when you go to WoW-Europe it takes you to a screen that (at least until the other day) was just what looked like the inside of a glacier.

Today the ice has receded a bit and now you can see what appears to be a bit of sky. The screen otherwise doesn't do anything.
Are they gearing up for the big announcement? It's the Blizzard Invitational thing this weekend at Paris which might be the likely time for it.
WotLK Release Date Announcement Imminent?

Yeah, people have been speculating that it's either WotLK or Diablo 3 that they're announcing... but I haven't seen any conclusive evidence either way or towards something else entirely. It's like that on the US page as well; it's changed 3 or 4 times so far. I'm sure Blizzard has something up their sleeve they're going to announce, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what it is
