Censusplus for Warhammer?

Post by Eyeball-Dragonmaw »

Rollie,

Add-ons are allowed on Warhammer. Would you be interested in making a censusplus for it? Maybe you can make a warhammerrealms.com site.

Curse.com has some warhammer add-ons already, and some dev tools to download to make add-ons for the game.

Alanthus alluded to something that Mythic will provide outright, making a need for something like this in Warhammer obsolete.

I have been meaning to look into it regardless.

Looking through the existing API, I do not see any functionality that would be required to do a census. Going to keep looking though.

The only thing I have seen so far by Mythic on the Realm War page is

Char Search
Guild Search
Leaderboards

Looks like Mythic won't be providing quite the straight numbers they planned initially but we'll see I guess. I just hope there won't be an /anon option...

They will provide more than what they have up currently though, maybe not as far as deep census data goes but we'll likely see a lot more especially on the guild side of things.

It'll be interesting to see exactly how this goes. I'm going to borrow my cousin's War account at some point in the next few weeks just to give it a shot :P

There is. Both an /anon and /hidden. /anon means your details won't show, just your name, but /hidden will prevent you from showing in a /who result at all.

I have a rudimentary census working but there are some problems so continuing on for now =)

I have a version running now that seems to be collecting all the data. I need to get a working UI in place as right now it just does text based reporting.

Not to mention I need to polish my Wrath updates and get the site ready for Wrath as well!

Busy busy!

I actually already have a version of the mod that works, I just don't have the site updated to reflect it.

If you're interested in the Wrath CP version, shoot me an email and I'll send it to you!
