How often do the updates get processed???

Post by Aristodemos »

Ok, Ive been submitting updates for about a week now, and NONE of them have gone through.

I sent an email to the admin or whatever...

What is the deal?

Usually, updates get processed the same day that they are submitted. However, the processing seems to have hit a snag, and so we're waiting on Rollie (the admin) to come clear things up for us. No word as of yet, but he's a busy guy and runs the site by himself so I'm sure there's a good reason. Don't worry, he'll get it cleared up.

The update process is choked right now and I didn't even realize it until now. It's quite a few days behind, I'm looking into it now.

Looks like it is a recurring uniupload file that is hosing it all up. I'm getting everything going again and will update when I have more info.

Glad you're back and on top of it now - hopefully all will be ok now :)

Btw, any idea if C+ will work with 3.0, or will you need to do an update? The joy of major patches and wondering how many addons will contnue to work ;)

As far as I know, it should work. I have a working version on the wrath servers (or did last I was on anyway) and don't envision any issues with 3.0 other than updating the TOC & version numbers.

Have you been able to resolve the bug in bg's? Sucks, that I often forget to turn back on Auto-Census after playing an AV.

The current version should not even run in BG's so there should be no issue there.

Well... I have my Auto Census on 1 Minute and get annoyingly flooded with the "You are currently in a Battleground so a Census cannot be taken". :D

Even if you do change it you'll still get hit by the flooding if you pvp for 100 minutes, it'll eventually reach the end of the timer ;) I still run 10 mins timer, just had to make an extra chat tab to show everything I want to see while in a BG and remember to switch to it when I do BGs. The problem there is remembering to switch back after as a few mods don't play nice with using a non-standard main chat window :P

The processing is still backed up by a few days. Any update on what went wrong?

It's catching up. It was due to me 'resetting' a bunch of larger files for reprocessing.
