I'm having a problem where UU won't stay running. I can start it and send it to the tray, and it uploads after I exit WoW but without any warning or notification it just closes down after a while and I have to go and restart it. I've combed through the options with a fine tooth brush and couldn't find anything that would indicate that I have told it to close after doing something or after some set time, but it always does.. I'm running XP 64-bit if that helps..

Ok. username/password changed to user/pw. not sending the user/pass securely (have that box unchecked). unhid my SV list and checked CensusPlus (it defaulted to CharacterProfiler, that's odd).

first i think it submitted the data anon, which is gonna irk me as i've gotten a large quantity of new characters that now aren't going to be credit to me : [.

then i got this response:

Username : SannaSK<Error> Unable to query : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3 on line: 281 of /home/wrlogin/public_html/uniupload.php

and it just stops there. i've read this whole thread and i can't find any clue as to what i'm doing wrong.

EDIT.
huh, using 'username' and 'password' and not having the secure bit be checked makes everything go through just fine. nevermind!!

Also make sure to use GZip compression.. makes things go much faster and a huge benefit of using Uniuploader vs using the upload page on this site.

A 4mb file should compress to around 400kb, which makes the upload take seconds as opposed to minutes :P

AUGH 3 days worth of new characters, credited to anonymous because I needed to actually leave 'username' and 'password' as those instead of changing them to 'user' and 'pw'.

*emoes in the corner for her lost pixelated fame* : p.

Hmm...well, it looks like it isn't working again....for me atleast -_-

I have tried it with username/password, user/pw, username/pw, user/password, with and with out Send Password Securely. Every time I get "Error => Unable to query : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3 on line: 281 of /home/wrlogin/public_html/uniupload.php"

I loved having uni uploader running, taking care of my uploads for me. Here's hoping it gets fixed shortly, or I figure out what I did wrong!

Okay, I just downloaded the latest version of UU and had no problems whatsoever. Send me an email. If you can include the settings.ini file from the directory where you have UniUploader installed as this will allow me to duplicate your settings.

I'm getting the exact same thing today? First time I've had this problem, wonder what causes it?

I guess I'll try a reinstall.

EDIT: Still not working. Hmm.

EDIT2: Okay I got it. Had to uninstall and delete directory then reinstalled and re-entered all the info. :p

Having problems.

I got the MySQL line 3 error, and tried changing to username and password and I get this error:

UNABLE TO CHECK YOUR FILE!! => /home/wrlogin/home/wrlogin/uploads/bg/200937-4-0-57UNIUPLOAD.4wz76

Gonna try a reinstall.

I occasionally see that same error myself (using curl to upload, not uniuploader). At least for me, the upload has always been successful when I retry.

In any case, I doubt that there is anything on your side that is causing this error on the server.

I think I got it working and uploading censusplus.

Uploading Killingfields was causing a different, server-side error.

Just an FYI about the latest changes @ http://www.wowroster.net/

As of 1 April they have a new forum software in use and have not updated all the previous services yet so they work with the new forum software.

The Download section is not yet available.

I made a note of this elsewhere, but not here:

That "syntax error" seems to be thrown when you try to upload less than 18 minutes from your last submission.
