Why is census suddenly opening the who page when it scans.

It shouldn't be. Do you have the Auto-Close Who selected under options?

Yes the auto close is ticked it also finds no new players and no player on line.

You are using the latest version made available this weekend? Have you tried disabling all other addons except CensusPlus and viewed the results?

I had the same problems with census+. Then i disabled all addons and enabled them back one by one. The addon "SpamMeNot" was causing the trouble with census+. Now i'm using all addons (except SpamMeNot) again and census+ is doing fine.

SpamMeNot is using WhoLib (or is it LibWho)..
That makes CensusPlus do funny things...

Yes it is Spam me not once its off census is fine.
