Well, it's almost 9 years old, and while not at its peak any more, it's still bloody big... I can't see it dropping enough to make them stop developing for a long time frankly. Went with the 2025 thing but I don't know for sure, wouldn't expect it to end this decade at least, going on how well it's lasted the last 9 years. Despite the very vocal naysayers on forums, I think there's still an awful lot of us out here quietly enjoying it and not planning on stopping anytime soon!

They will continue, until subs fall below 1M.....

When? Depends on the quality of the expansions.. MoP was a BAAAAAAAAD expansion..
Doing census mainly on Draenor; Raluf - Nimsay - Lusmo - Quixx - Sosyan - Garthog - Trubin - Zalistra - Zesmi and Djaang

I disagree, it's been my favorite thus far.

I realize that my data doesn't come with a very big sample size, but of my IRL friends that I play WoW with, about three quarters of them had quit during Cataclysm. They have all now returned, and without exception loved the Mists of Pandaria content. The recurring complaint I've been heard is having to level alts through Cataclysm content to get to Mists of Pandaria. I'm talking about my personal friends, so it is hardly surprising that their preferences would bare a strong similarity to mine, these are people I've been gaming with for years.

Heroic 5mans: Too few, too easy..
Tier 14: Horrible
Tier 15: Bottom 3 raid
Tier 16: Fair raid, horrible grinding hub

Please tell me,w what you find GOOD about MoP..

MoP actually has things to do! Not all of us spend our lives in raids, there's a sizeable number of us who really aren't interested in raiding (remember the days when only 1% of the population saw Sunwell or something like that?), and MoP has by far the biggest amount of content for us:

Pet battles
Scenarios
Farm
LFR for every tier
A lovely long legendary chain to work through
Interesting questlines with some factions (Tillers, Klaxxi and Dominance Offensive come to mind as being totally worth working right through on more than one character; granted the commendation does make it more fun the 2nd time)
Hunting relics/rares
Timeless Isle (ok it gets old after a while but as a collector type it'll fill lots of my time anyway)

If you only like raiding, then maybe it's not so good, but then you only play a tiny fraction of the game. Try looking at the rest of it and seeing the expansion as a whole :)

Just for comparison, in TBC I was bored enough to level eight alts to max level (and get most current factions up to exalted on several of them), as there was nothing to do if you didn't raid and weren't super-keen on 5-mans. Wrath I spent most the expansion working on vanilla reputations for the Insane, plus got six characters to max level, because again, not a whole lot to do after initial gearing.

Cataclysm I spent most of the final part of the expansion on the Ironman Challenge because I was bored out of my mind at max level (you may like hard 5-mans but for people like me who rely on pugs, they meant the only group content I could do was too stressful to be worth it), oh and again I had six max level characters.

MoP... I'm not bored yet. It's taken me this long to even get a third max level character, and I still have things to work on in current content that don't involve being forced into grouping. This is a fantastic improvement! By far the best expansion so far for actual content.

Balgair did a far better job of explaining that than I would have been able to. The only thing I would add is how much I have enjoyed the art style they have used in Mists of Pandaria.
