So I just discovered that, with the conversion of Safari Hat to a toy, you no longer get one in the mail on every new character (and all the other new character mailbox spam seems to have disappeared over time as well). Meaning, deleting throwaway census alts no longer involves running to a mailbox first! Guess I can have alts of races that don't begin life next to a mailbox again now, I was rather bored of using human/gnome/belf/goblin only

Well it was nice while it lasted, now all my characters are getting a Fleet Commander's hat in the mail instead, sigh! I guess accounts in the opposite continent to where you normally play won't get them, since it's an achievement reward, but still a nuisance to me

Yep, but they only just started sending them out to all my alts, grrr. Oh well, hopefully they'll stop that again with 7.0 when transmog goes accountwide...

Blizzard have confirmed a wardrobe for Tabards..

I haven't seen any news about Cosmetic items (yet)..

They've confirmed a wardrobe for EVERYTHING, actually

Not just cosmetic items and tabards but absolutely everything you could possibly transmog (including shirts, tabards and weapon enchants which are all new to the transmog system), so there'll very much be no need to send hats to every character on an account once it's in
