Lol, sorry, was meant as a "many of those who got into alpha", based on the forums there, where a lot said they never got any mail, which was the same as my own experience Just have to hope the alpha invite carries over to beta; lots of people are saying it will based on past experience, but someone spoke to a GM who says it doesn't lol... hopefully the GM is wrong, I didn't have time to see anything like as much as I wanted

One of the jokes was that the first batch of Alpha invites all went to video bloggers.

Most batches seemed to have a purpose, yeah, streamers/fansites for promoting it in the first wave (irritating for everyone else lol), PVPers, raiders... I haven't a clue what the heck I got in for though, I don't fit any obvious category, just "lucky" I guess

Seems pure random now beta is coming so a lot more normal players should get a shot now
