lag?

Ok, Monday I updated to C+ v3.0 and UU v 2.1.2.
As soon as I did that my game started locking up. I normally have it on auto-census. Everytime i click the census button, the screen freezes for a sec then loads the UI. When a census finishes the game freezes for a sec, then shows the light blue line saying please upload yadda yadda. Mid census it will drop to desktop, drop to log in, or scramble the screen and lock the computer.
I know this sounds like a video issue. I assure you the box is fine, the ram is fine, the video card is fine. It's a 3.4ghz, 1gb ram, radeon 9800XT 256. When I turn off Auto-Census, the only problems i have is the *hiccup* when i open the C+ UI or when it finishes a census.
After disabling auto-census last night , I successfully played for 5 hours without crashing or getting disconnected once. I also know it has nothing to do with UU cuz I don't leave it running.

Is anyone else experiencing any of this?

Issues:

Screen Hiccup when census ui is loaded
Screen hiccup when cencus finishes

While Auto-Census is ON
Crash to desktop
Crash to login
Screen freeze, then box locks up

Hrm... that's not good. Do you know how big your local database is? Have you Prune'd lately? Or Purged even?

A hiccup when the UI loads could indicate an oversized local database. That's not cool if it can crash your app though =x

will purge today. its prolly pretty large since it does auto census consistently on 3 diff servers.

ok just pruged and hiccup is gone when openning the ui. will turn auto back on and see how that goes while i farm some charms for baby wars.

It kind of sounds like there may be some memory issues there. I don't really know enough about the UI memory manager to know what would happen if an AddOn needs more memory than you have allowable.

usually it pops up a box and says oops youve used what you alloted time to close buhbye
i have it set to 100mb

I'm getting the screen hiccups also - no crashes, but the slowdown is slightly annoying if I'm in the middle of something and don't notice the census is running, then it ends while I'm busy fighting something

Probably it's my database size too (Censusplus.lua is 7.5MB, pruning won't do much though as I haven't had it for 30 days yet!), but I didn't notice it until the last few days, basically since I updated both Census+ and UniUploader. Guess this is an occupational hazard of updating more than one server?

Mines like 7 megs also, but is there a way to purge only some servers? As i'd like to keep my census on kargath close to real.

There is not currently a way to purge only certain data. It shouldn't be too hard to add that in though. I'll put it on my todo list.

I get the hiccup when saving variables (at the end of a census) but not the crash... guess that's what happens when you're running a gig of RAM

I just tried to prune and got an LUA error at line 92 about an unexpected value. Purging did work. Seems the stutters have stopped.

Line 92? In the CensusPlus.lua file? Any chance you can grab a screenshot of the error?
