What do you do during the Census

I normally run Census when Im flying somewhere, or when I alt+tab out of WoW.

i dont understand the question - i play normal and kill mobs and do quests when census is running

I play all my low level alts while censusing, get them to lvl 5-6, follow the quest chains that take them to the first small town, and then park them in the inn (no more waiting 20 seconds to log out of a half-empty server that took under 5 minutes to census!) After that they don't get played, because there's no longer safe zones of all yellow mobs to afk/log out in quickly.

Some people run the census on several servers, most of which they don't actually "play" on. They just create a new character and only use it to run the census. I think I have characters on six factions spread across five servers, but I only have a few characters that I am leveling and questing with.
