Ever notice that BLizz giveth... then blizz taketh away...
first they give us cloth turn ins for faction. everyone bitched that it just wasnt enough faction per turn in. many conjectured that it was to rid the servers of an excess of runecloth.
then they give us the AQ event. Again, many conjectured that it was to rid the servers of excess materials. Some argued that it was a ploy to cause regular players to take back the farming locations to help shove hte "farmers" away. Of course some ppl bitch that it isnt giving a fair amount or enough faction for them. Forget that you get what you put into it. Some people just aren't happy no matter what.
THEN they give us the lunar holiday quest crap. 10K rep for alliance/horde factions for all 50 coins. My 60 druid was able to get all 50 coins with a GRAND TOTAL of 3 deaths. 1 to a pc in Ogrimar, 1 to missing the elevator at 1kneedles, and a 3rd when i fell in the hole in the middle of the dragons in ST. I did them all solo. I will be starting iwth my lvl 15 war next. She should be able to get 44, with LOTS of deaths. My point is.... why are they giving us all this free rep? Will it suddently be pointless? will the rep stages be rising soon? What are they up to? those sneaky bastages!

Not sure, but you are quite right though. I remember when the game started last year it was impossible to raise rep with some of the alliance.

Now as you explained there are several ways to raise it. For me it doesn't really matter what they do with rep. Usually what you get out of it isn't worth the grind/gold. However, I would like to see different ways to get reputation with like Timbermaw. I hate running back and forth to a quest giver, but I would really like that epic furbolg trinket.

I didn't realize there were that many coins out and about with this festival. lol I only have 7 on my alt warlock(level 14) which has become my main.

But then again, once the expansion comes out everything will be completely different. Everything on my alt(my 60) will be obsolete and there will be many new factions with much better items as rewards. I wouldn't stress over it right now. Everything designed for a level 60 won't be worth the grind in a few months. Especially since the level cap is rising.

I have 26 on my main. Nothing on either of my alts. I have all of the coins from Kalimdor except the ones from inside instances and in Thunder Bluff and Orgrimmar. I just haven't gotten the courage to try to get into the cities and get them yet.

The instances, I just don't have the energy to go for them alone, or they're too high for me. We'll see.
