1) Yeah, the bigger the database the slower the page opens, but it's not that bad for me, even with a really large local database... is probably only about 1-2 seconds, if that.
2) If there's 3 or less characters per query, it tends to try a couple times and gives that spam. It's been doing that for as long as I've used the mod, though :P
3) It would be wonderful if the census automatically paused or something to allow for a /who to be done, but it could be tough... especially since blizzard only allows the /who queries every few seconds or so. It's been brought up before though ;)

Yeah, I'm going to keep working on the delay when you open the window, but there's not much I can do about it right now. It will require a fair amount of refactoring to fix that.

The sad part is that Blizzard did something with the 1.9(?) patch that exacerbated that delay. It used to be very minimal, but not it is very noticable.

I have an idea for a new feature...

Suppose you are looking for a priest to help you out in some instance... You type /who 60 priest... You return with 50 results, and over half of them are people in an instance so they are busy. What if you had a feature that you can do something like /censusplus who 60 priest and it would first check to see if the results returned are 50, since this indicates that there are more than 50 results. If this is true it then proceeds to do the regular census scan, so like /who r-"Troll" c-"Priest" 60-60 and it would run through each class:

/who r-"Troll" c-"Priest" 60-60
/who r-"Undead" c-"Priest" 60-60

The results will then appear in the Show Chars window box, or something like that, except now you can see their location.
You can now see ALL lvl 60 priests online, and msg the one that isn't busy, so there could be one in Silithus farming and just itching for an instance run, but you didn't know because the /who 60 priest didn't return that person....

Just an idea............
