That version will work, but it includes code for TBC. I have updated the cosmos distro version as well so the current one (3.6.0) should push to you next time Cosmos does an update.

I got an on-load error when trying out the new version.

Interface\AddOns\CensusPlus\CensusPlus.lua:3333: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got string)

Hrm... that's odd...

I'll do some testing when I get home tonight.

Echo that, I got the same error, too.

After the first time I ran it, Blizzard's UI wants me to disable it. I'll post the message next time it comes up, but it doesn't like something the census mod does.

I had an error as well the first time I entered WoW and I had 4.0b installed. It was related to the Profile.lua file, which resulted in all my census data being deleted......

But otherwise Cosmos Alpha distro finally updated it to 3.6 :)

Can you email me your data file so I can hopefully repro this error?

The Censusplus.lua file got completely written over so its just a small file now compared to what it was before the patch. And also the error doesn't come up any more. It was just that one time.

I downloaded Census from the site
Run Census for a couple of hours
Used UniUploader to upload the file
It showed up without an error
All running it on Vista

Yeah, mine worked fine after the very first time... I guess like DM said, it was rewriting over the saved variables, since my DB got wiped too. Since then it's worked fine. Now WTB CTbarmod & CTbottombar updates >_<

Just add, that my file was still the same one from before the patch. Cleaned out the Interface foler to Census only at the moment, cleaned out the Saved folder of everything BUT Census and the file still uploaded.

Now if there is a problem in the processing of the file we won't know until it gets to it.

Interface\AddOns\CensusPlus\CensusPlus.lua:3333: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got string)

same error but it didn't mess w/ my database. I get the error everytime I login.

I'm thinking that it might have something to do w/ the special characters in my guildname? ? (alt-0223), which in the census.lua file shows up as ??.

If you're still looking for a data file, it didn't wipe mine Rollie, and I still get the error, I'll send it over if you want.
