while browsing throught the general forum, and 2 threads really were a pain to read.

whats wrong with intelliTXT? most of the links are bullshit, but some are usable. but more than everything, it may pay for rollies expenses. and if you really don't want to see them, you can just avoid hovering your mouse over them or block them.

the poster itself says within the first few lines that it is only noticable if you directly compare them. jpeg quality 75 sure is a bit low, but with a little knowledge of how jpeg compresses, he cold have just chosen different background and the artefacts around the font would have disappeared.

this site is a **** miracle. treat it like one!

It was hardly a rant.

Besides, I imagine it was not a hard fix. It was just the forums that he ended up changing; he left the rest of the site as is. I blocked it anyway, but we'll see. And I thanked him. I doubt you can even remotely consider a rant; complaint, sure. Rant, no.

As to the second, I doubt that was a hard change either. But then, what do I know?

It's cool that people voice their opinions. This site is practically made by the community, I just provide the tools. So in my opinion, I look forward to feedback.

its just that ... for example the q75 image was about 15Kb, while the other version is about 60Kb.
i know how precious traffic can bee for sites like this.

imho these kinda sacrifices tend to fall on your head pretty quick.
