... the queues are back. After not seeing a queue for a few months, the past few nights Mal'Ganis has been queued with 500 or more people around prime time. 45 minutes to log in for the lose :?

Are you guys experiencing the same on your servers?

I am on a high pop server, but I personally haven't seen any queues or people complaining about it. Actually I was surprised the last two days that my updates were lower than normal. I figured a huge spike, but something tells me some people arent gonna bother with S4 since WotLK green > S4 and maybe enjoying RL till the xp pack comes out.

Didn't notice any queues but oh boy were arena/honor vendors crowded this morning! Nagrand arena was so packed I flew to Blades Edge instead and as for the hall of legends... argh! I'm 2k gold richer from selling gems and enchanting mats though :P I think it'll spike the populations a little with giving people something to do for a bit, kinda hoping it might drag back one of my friends who got full S1 then lost interest a bit but we'll see!

I've just started Censusing the other night again and was pleasantly surprised by the busyness of the servers, looks like they're well up again following the recent drops and my gut feeling is there much like they were when they peaked.

Not quite queuing territory yet but I think come Sunday evening I won't be surprised if there's several locked realms on the EU English realms.

I went to Tanaris and used the arena vendor there. Only 1 other person was around. Of course Hall of Legends was a nightmare, but logging out and back on before it loads all the pc's you can easily target the npc's along with turning off all pc names. They should really fix that though, and put a hall of legends in TB, and UC.

Yeah, I always use the arena vendors in tanaris, as it's just easier to not get killed while trying to click on npcs. Area 52 was ridiculously crowded (even using the v key trick didn't really work), and Nagrand/Blade's Edge were crazy pvp fests (most of the people seemed to be in 3/5 S4 already) so tanaris will remain my favorite safe, out of the way destination :P

As far as queues go, Mal'Ganis has been locked every night since the night before the patch... and Blizzard is still allowing incoming transfers. Hooray.
