Wow, three votes in a row for CE. Before I voted, it was 1 / 1 / 0 / 1, and now it is 1 / 1 / 3 / 1.

Finding a collector's edition in my town was nearly impossible. You needed to stand in line for at least 3 hours, prior to the midnight launch.

Luckily, Best Buy (which didn't have a midnight opening) had a glut of them. I returned my standard edition back to Walmart, and picked up the CE from Best Buy during my lunch break, the day after launch

I actually saw a CE just 2 days ago in Best Buy.

Nice to see the response to the poll. This poll is set to run a few months so large number of site members can get in it.

I find polls are always fun and get peoples pulse for ideas. Largest poll response for me was on a warhammer poll had over 2000 responses to that poll.

Yeah, polls are good, as long as the questions work for polls (such as this one). Though, if you want to get people's opinion about something a poll is actually bad and will make less people respond to the thread. Compared to if there wasn't a poll and you asked people to respond with their answer instead. They think clicking the button in the poll and then submit is enough to show their opinion, netting you less useful information.

Also, bought regular box the day it came out. I think CE is not worth the money, and not enough patience to wait for digital purchase (even though I prefer it).

Found over the past 28 years working online (goverment internet - BBS - open internet) that polls are always very helpful. When I used goverment ran internet in college years we had get posted answers only. But with BBSs all polls are like this one in raw numbers. They are helpful to plan new additions to a site, get peoples view on popular topics and just fun since people do not need to post. The companies I have been a manager or supervisor also use polls, in paper form, to get employee views. These helped us get the pulse of the staff and served to help them better.

That last part is key and gets more responses that is an open question. Open question you may get 3 or 4 people to respond but in a poll get 100s of responders. It also helps to lower the trolls.


So I find poll fun but much more. You can see I am a huge fan of polls of all types and forms.

But for this forum they are here for the fun factor only.

Yea I see the CE is still for sale and debated getting it but with the stock market and bank crash money is getting close.

I didnt think CE was worth the money, atleast not for me, would probably have been diffirent if I had CE of the last two games, but I dont, so I'm not really fussed!
