From US to UK?

Hello everyone, this is my first post on the forum so apologies if I'm covering old ground - if you could point me in the right direction any help would be appreciated.

I recently started playinf WOW while working in the US, and so have an American version of the game and all my (laughably low-level) characters are on a US server (Feathermoon, since you ask). I'm back in the UK now, and though I'm quite happy to keep my existing characters where they are (I like my guild and friends), I would quite like to start a new toon on a European server. Of course when I'm asked to choose my server it only gives me the US, Oceanic and Latin America options.

Anyone know what I can do?

The WoW accounts are not linked between US/UK. You will have to buy and open a UK account in order to have UK characters.

I know it sucks, but those are the breaks!

Yeah, that does kind of suck but never mind, worse things happen at sea. Looks like I'm stuck on the US servers forever then, as there is no way I'm starting my star Rogue all over again (she may only be level 46 but it's taken me 4 intense months dammit!). Forever doomed to be playing at 2am US time and have to look at the exchange rates to see how much my subscription will cost this month LOL!
