Census checks by hour/time of day.

Hiya,

Since I run censuses at different times of day, I'd like to know where my time could be best spent:

What I'd like to see is, the number of censuses taken by hour or period:

EG by period

A csv file would be great so I can filter in excel etc

I can't offer you a CSV file... but the data you are looking for is visible in each realm's page, just click on the link in the "Activity Ratio" and you will get to a page that will reveal the info you are after. Do note that if there are no submissions for one (or both) side(s), the link might not be there.

Yep I can see it on each server hence me thinking it would be a relatively simple csv for rollie to make

problem is it either takes lot of time for me to check each of the 110 eu servers manually, or it puts load on the server for me to screen-grab 'automatically'

Either way it would be far easier to have one list from here so I could see which servers lack a census for 11am, say

OF course, if it's ok for me to screen-grab once a week, I'll do that now and if it's of interest I'll be happy to put the csv file somewhere - can't promise when it'll be updated tho

I suggest that you wait until you hear from Rollie. I am not familiar with the technique, so I am not aware how much strain the grapping would put on the server, which is why am suggesting erring on the side of caution for now.

I think you are right. However, I couldn't resist grabbing the High Population ones (since this is a shorter list)

Here are the EU ones for today (hopefully one can copy and paste into a csv file if this is useful).

One thing I've noticed is that the individual server activity pages don't seem to be updated at the same time as the general stats, so that's another reason why screen grabbing is not a good ongoing solution

Hmm I'm suddenly not hopeful about this being taken up - I can't see any sign of Rollie on here since the start of June, and his lvl 80 char hasn't been played since July 20th.
