Sometime before the "Dawning" [Alliance reference]
Heck well before 2011...
Blizzard WOW accounts as see by the client could have a User specified name.
Then when they came out with using email address as the account authentication identifier that ability went away and accounts are all numeric now.
At least that seems to be how I remember it.
My main account does not have a numeric identifier instead it has an alpha-numeric combination..
It was something easy for me to remember as it matches an Identifier given to me by the US government for a license.
Sadly Uniuploader does not now.. and maybe never did handle non-numeric accounts.
I hope to fix that... but that is a very low priority
How many other people have older accounts that don't fit the current numeric standards used by Blizzard?

UniUploader handles my old account names just fine... admittedly I haven't updated UU in a very long time (it works, so why fix what's not broken
), sounds like I'd better not update it, in that case! Hah, just found the setup file... August 2010, just a little outdated, glad it still works
Anyway, I have two accountnames which I chose myself (one from 2005, one from 2007), both are in ordinary letters, and one which is a random mash of numbers which is unidentifiable and I wish I could change it to something clearer (that'll be my starter account on the US servers, much more recent than the other two!). Must be a right pain for anyone with multiple accounts made since the numbers came in, they're not exactly easy to remember...

the source code is available. it is written in C# another computer language I am not proficient in coding.
And the last date in the svn is May 29, 2010 on the main file.. which is the one I think is having problems.
My account is N9RHF.... well not really but the letters and number are in the right place.
for some reason it just can't find the SV file for that account... hmmm I wonder if it a case sensitivity issue?

Hmm, sounds like yours should be a similar age to mine then... my accountnames do not have numbers in (except for the new one which is entirely numbers), but I wouldn't have expected that to give problems.
I can email you my setup file if you want to try it, can't guarantee it actually works though!
